"Pheasant" Photographed by Christof Wermter

A cloudy, early morning in April on the island of Texel in the Netherlands didn’t hold much promise for any decent pictures, but Christop hoped to spot a pheasant, and after an hour, Christop saw this individual in the grass near the road. The sun suddenly lit up the scene, which gave him enough time to take some pictures before dull-grey conditions returned.
